I love all of the above...
How I could use a nice nap or day at the beach!
Wishing my sweet Finley would get over the flu and we could leave our house!

I'm ready...

...to pack up and head to the beach!
Too bad I have to wait until July!  It has been raining, and thunderstorming, and hailing here
a lot lately!  We are so ready for  some warmth and sunshine!
Especially Finley!

Tuesday Nights on Bravo...

Love it!
Pregnant in Heels on Bravo Tuesday nights!
Hilarious!  Seriously who are these women?
If you don't watch it, I think you should because it is thoroughly entertaining!

Hello Monday!  Feeling revived after a week with sick family and ready to start the week off right!
I am ready to drop these last 10 lbs of baby weight and I started working hard core today!
Tomorrow after yoga I am meeting with a personal trainer and although I know he is going to kick me in the rear, I am so ready!!  I'm going to continue with all of my normal classes and meet with him twice a week for that extra push!  The problem is all the baking I have been enjoying lately!
I made mocha brownies the other night and they were so delicious and so rich.  The icing alone had two sticks of butter in it!
Yikes!

Henry's Favorite Things

With so many friends about to have babies, I thought Master Henry and I would share
our favorite baby items!  Registering for baby items can be overwhelming, so listed below
are my must haves!

Aden and Anais Swaddle Blankets
These are amazingly soft!  I wish they made them my size ;)

Under the Nile kimono
Henry LOVES snuggling up in this super soft egyptian cotton towel after his bath.  He seriously falls asleep when I put him in it!

Skip Hop drying rack
I love this drying rack!
Functional and very stylish!

Skip Hop Tubby Organizer
Nice and big for all of the bath toys, shampoos, baby bath, etc...
Very handy for the tub or shower!

Aden and Anais Burpies
I  cannot tell you how much use we get out of these.  Not only do they work as a
burp cloth, they snap in the back for use as a bib!
I have a hard time using other burp cloths now because these are so great and multi functional!

Dr. Brown's Bottles
I have never met another mother who didn't like these bottles for their babies.
These are a must have at our house!

Rikshaw Designs Taj blanket
This is Henry's bedding and it such an awesome blanket!
Again this is one that I wish was made in my size!
Isn't it darling?
And last of all....Anything from Mini Boden
I shop here for both kids and love their clothes!
What is cuter than little ones in darling mismatched outfits??

Happy Baby Shopping!

A splash of pink

Spring is finally here! So is my new couch and the new bathroom is almost complete!
With the wonderful new couch here, I have been trying to decide what other colors I would like to incorporate into the living room.  I am always so drawn to pink accents.
I now need a rug, two new lights, and a large ottoman that I can put toys inside!  I also cannot decide if I want to paint my living room and kitchen or not.  So much indecisiveness!  I figure I'll know it when I see it so I am not in a huge hurry to rush out and buy just anything!!
In the mean time...

I've been missing my blog!  I have had sick kiddos and my internet wasn't up and running.  Double Yuck!
Henry is 90% better which makes me so happy!  No surgery!  It ended up being a protein allergy and now we are on a really stinky formula that has helped so much.
Now for Finley, we must figure her out!  Sweet girl!
Also my mother is sailing her way hrough the mediterreanean.  Lucky dog....
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous!

inspiration for our barn

My husband wants to build a barn behind our house.  Not a barn for animals of course but a barn that would double as a garage as well as a place for entertaining.  If I had my choice it would look like Ina Garten, The Barefoot Contessa's barn that she built behind her home in the Hamptons.
However, If I had a haven like this behind my house, I may never come home!
