doors

I am having a painted door obsession.  I want to paint my doors.  Exterior and interior,
but I cannot choose the right color at the moment.  I don't want to repaint in 2 years so I am kind of being a chicken about this.
So I just keep looking at all of these gorgeous pics and envying everyone else's beautifully painted doors.

home

Home, after what seemed like a very long vacation.  It was wonderful but the last two days of traveling made me extremely excited to be in my house, my bed, and back to my coffee pot.

outta here...

Aaandd... we are headed out of this snowy weather in the morning for some warm Florida sunshine.
There could not be better timing because it is frigid and snowy here!  I'll try my best to blog from my i pad.  It may not be pretty but it's something!  Have a great week and stay warm!

organizing

Why do we wait until January to organize our homes?  Why do we not keep up with it throughout the year.  Maybe it is just the messy craziness Christmas leaves behind?  Whatever it may be I get the urge every January to organize my belongings, my desk drawers, kitchen drawers, closets, pantry, refrigerator, etc...
I am going to try harder to keep up with it.  I really am...
Here are a few organized spaces to inspire from the blog I heart organizing
I could spend hours on Jen's blog but I really need to be organizing ;)

Finley's new room update

Finley room update

Just wanted to share with you all the update to Finley's new room.
She is moving across the hall and I am making her room the new nursery.  The boys have moved in together and so far, so good.  We hit some major sales at RH baby and child over the Christmas season and were able to score her bed and flush mount chandelier for great prices.  Then I headed over to Layla Grayce, which was also having a sale on their Dash and Albert rugs.  The debate was a pink and white stripe rug or navy herringbone.  Due to muddy boots and farm life the navy won.  She has so many pink accents in her room as it is.
Right now the room has only the bed, bookshelves, and dressers.  So as I go I promise to update you all with pictures! xo

e* design and mood boards

I love making mood boards for e*design clients because it is such a fun process for me!  E*design is a more affordable entry into interior design and in this day and age there are a lot of wonderful DIY'ers out there that want to implement the project into their space themselves but don't know where to start or what to purchase.  This is where I love to help out.

How does this process work?
I send you a questionnaire via email to determine your wants and needs and you will send me measurements and pictures.  I'll send you a mood board, furniture arrangement, and a full shopping list!  Then you get to purchase and implement at your own pace!  How simple is that?

For more information on e*design you can email me here.
